Alfred State Football Tallies Two Players Of The Weeks

Alfred, NY- Two Pioneers earned ECFC Player of the Week honors after Alfred took down conference Anna Maria 49-14. Danny Browning is the Co-Defensive Player of the Week, while Noah Currier earned Rookie of the Week honors.

Browning ended the weekend with four tackles and a touchdown after scooping up a blocked punt. Of his four tackles one was solo.

For Currier this is his second straight week garnering POTW honors, as he led the Pioneers offense totaling 124 yards and two touchdowns. His first touchdown was scored from 34 yards out, while the second one was scored from 53 yards out.
