Jamison, Malenfant, And Currier Garnered Conference Player Of The Week Honors

Alfred, NY- The Pioneers garned two AMCC Player of the Weeks. Paris Jamison won Men's Basketball Player of the Week, while Sean Malenfant took home Wrestler of the Week honors. Noah Currier took home ECFC Rookie of the Week honors as well.

Paris Jamison led the Pioneers offense this week, tallying 63 points in three game, averaging 21 points per game. He opened the year with 14 points, four rebounds, and three steals against Geneseo. He then put in 24 points, four rebounds, and three steals against Merchant Marine. Jamison ended the week with 25 points and a career-high eight steals, while also adding three rebounds, two assists and a block against Clarks Summit. Jamison shot 70.6% from the field and 50% from three-point range on the week. 

Sean Malenfant took home the 184 title at the Washington and Jefferson Invite while setting a new Pioneers career pins record. He started his day with a fall in 2:44. Then in his next match he got a takedown and a four-point near fall before getting his season fall of the day. He followed that with a major decision win to advance to the first-place match. Then in the first-place match, he got a fall in the first round to claim the title.

Noah Currier had two kick returns for 107 yards, including an 88 yard return for a TD. He also tacked on six rushes for 131 yards and two more TDs. Currier finished the game with 18 points, three TDs and 288 all purpose yards.
