Rylie Van Fleet Awarded CSC Academic All-American First Team
Austin, TX- Rylie Van Fleet from the Alfred State Football Team takes home CSC Academic All-America first team honors.
Van Fleet, a Health Sciences major, finished the semester with a 3.91 GPA. In 11 games played the defensive back recorded 36 total tackles, six interceptions and 4 pass breakups. He was also named ECFC First Team Defense this past season. Van Fleet is also the team's punter and kick and punt return man.
The CSC All-America honors 26 players per team. The Division III Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Division III Academic All-America® program.
