Track Competes at Bomber Invitational

The Alfred State indoor track and field team competed at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational on Saturday.

Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool) led the Pioneers with a 4th place finish in the 5,000. She crossed the finish lin in 19:28.12. Her time is nearly six seconds faster than her career best at Alfred State and improves her 3rd best time in school history.

Jacob Hanss (East Rochester) was 12th in the men's 5,000 finishin in 16:29.80 while the Distance Medley Relay team of Austin Demberg (Minisink Valley), Trevor Stiles (Hornell), Ryan McFarland (Waverly), and Conrad Kroll (Minisink Valley) were 6th in 12:27.53.

Joe Richardson (Geneva) finished 16th in the triple jump with a leap of 11.98 m.

The Pioneers are back in action in two weeks when they travel to Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational.
