17 Pioneers Earn USCAA All-Academic Honors
17 Alfred State winter athletes have been named to the USCAA National All-Academic Team after achieving success in the classroom. Student-athletes earn All-Academic honors by being an upperclassmen who has earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher over the course of their academic career.
The following athletes were honored:
Men's Basketball: Tyler Elliott (Perry) & Wade Franklin (Arkport)
Women's Basketball: Kimberly Levee (Dansville), Steffanie Preston (Groton), and Michayla Salatel (Geneseo)
Swimming & Diving: Bryce Cutler (Newton, NJ), Jackson Teboe (Falconer), Megan Hendershot (Brockport), & Myriah Perry (Canisteo Greenwood)
Indoor Track & Field: Kyle Glaub (West Seneca), Jacob Hanss (East Rochester), Andres Prethus (Lansing), Cassandra Ryan (Gloversville), Brandon Teboe (Falconer, & Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool),
Wrestling: Jeffrey Andrews (Randolph) & Gordon Trahan (Canajoharie)
During the 2016-17 school year, 34 Alfred State athletes have earned All-Academic Team honors from the USCAA.
