ASC Puts In Highest Scoring Output This Season

Aurora, NY- Alfred State tallies their fifth win of the season in an 11-0 rout over Wells College. The Pioneers had 10 different goal scorers.

Erin Drewiega led the goal scores as she tallied two early goals. Karlee Hargather notched two assists and a goal, while Sierra Schofield saw no shots come her way.

The Pioneers scored eight goals in the first period, started with back-to-back goals from Drewiega in the first three minutes of the game. Then in the 8th minute, Ella Ingraham found the back of the net off a pass from Hargather. Less than two minutes later, Hargather put her name in the scoring column off a pass from Jena Schelble for the 4-0 lead.

After some midfield action, ASC went back on the attack and Taylor Searle pushed the lead to 5-nil with a goal. Then in the next few minutes, Allison Lundmark, Ainsley Pirotta, and Stella Carretto added goals of their own to take an 8-0 lead into half.

After halftime, Allie Bateson, Victoria Stuck, and Alysa Williams netted goals to extend the lead to 11-0. From there the Pioneers, took their foot off the gas and cruised to victory.
