Greensburg, PA- The Pioneers dropped a hard-fought match against the Bobcats 7-3. The Pioneers now sit at 5-8-2 on the season.
Jena Schelble netted her first hat trick of the season, tallying all three goals for the Pioneers. Kate Sproul came away with six saves on the day.
The Bobcats got on the board first with a goal in the 13th minute. Schelble answered goal a goal in the 36th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Then UPG regained the lead with one goal on each side of the halftime break.
In the 50th minute, Schelble cut the deficit down to one with a goal. From there, the Bobcats added three more goals, before Schelble found the net for her third goal of the game. UPG scored one more goal to secure the victory.
