Pioneers Tallies Four Wins Against Behrend

Erie, PA- The men's team drops today's meet against Penn State Behrend 165-135. While Conor Compton tallies two more wins on the boards.

On the 1-meter board, Compton scored a 294.00 to secure first place. Jack Tonkin finished second, while Bryan Reichert notched a third-place finish.  Then on the 3-meter board, Compton scored 328.75 for first, and Tonkin scored 210.30 for second place.

Ricardo Villarreal notched a win in the 200 free with a time of 1:51.60, while Collin Vimislik finished second as he touched the wall in 1:53.02. Villarreal also had podium finishes in the 100 and 200 fly events. In the 200 fly, he touched the wall in 2:02.73 for second. Then in the 100, Villarreal touched the wall in 54.72 for second place, and Patrick Robert (56.22) was right behind him in third.

Alex Villegas also secured a victory in the 500 free, he pulled away from the pack to touch the wall in 5:17.58, followed by Dillon Madigan (5:25.49) in third and Riley Hoyt (5:34.55) in fourth. Villegas also notched a second-place finish in the 1000 free with a time of 10:59.59.

Jack Freidah tallied three third place finishes in the 100 back (57.01), 200 back (2:08.08), and the 200 IM (2:07.00). While both Gregg Wenhold and Stuart Yates notched a second and third place finish each.

In the 200 medley relay the team of Friedah, Yates, Villarreal, and Brod finished in 1:41.34 for second. Then in the 200 free relay the team of Wenhold, Yates, Villegas, Brod finished in second with a time of 1:28.97.
