Pioneers Compete at Nationals

Alfred State wrestlers Conner Fox (Midlakes) and Josh Simons (Campbell Savona) both went to DesMoines, IA to compete in the NJCAA National Championships.

Fox, wrestling in the 174 lb. competition, fell to Trevor Mahlum (Ridgewater College) in his opening match and then fell 9-4 to Blaine Hill (Neosho County CC).  He finishes the season with a 14-13 record,.

Simons couldn't solve a familiar foe Kris Schimek (Niagara CCC) and then lost a tough 4-0 decision to Sheldon Graves (Pratt CC).  Simons ends his season with a 5-16 record.
