Men's Basketball: 3-3

The men's basketball team split a pair of games during Thanksgiving week. They defeated Houghton 80-79 on Tuesday but fell 73-60 to Hilbert on Saturday.

Tahaij Lewis (Rochester/Greece Olympia) hit a foul shot with no time left on the clock to lift the Pioneers to a one-point victory on Tuesday at Houghton. He finished the contest with 16 points and seven rebounds. Juwan Toliver (Buffalo/McKinley) led five Pioneers in double figures with 19 points and seven rebounds while Kevin Goode (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) finished with 15, Owen Spencer (Perry) 14, and Josh Reding (Rochester/Spencerport) 12.

Hilbert used a big run to take control of a back and forth contest on Saturday. Lewis led the Pioneers with 17 points and added six boards. Toliver finished an around performance with 10 points, seven rebounds, and six assists while Dante Jordan (New York/Law & Public) came off the bench and finished with 10.

Women's Basketball: 3-3

The women's basketball team struggled from the floor as they dropped a pair of Thanksgiving week contests. They fell 60-43 at Houghton and 68-54 vs. Hilbert. 

Versus Houghton, Kelsey Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca) led the Pioneers with 15 points while her sister Skylar Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca) came off the bench and chipped in 10. Emily Kelley (Wellsville) had six points and nine boards.

Hilbert connected on nine 3-pointers as they broke up the contest with a big 3rd quarter. Kelley led the blue & gold with 17 points and 12 rebounds while Janae Gibson (Bronx/Pelham Prep) finished with 12 points and 13 boards. Kelsey Shaulis added nine.

 

Swimming & Diving: Men: 1-3, 1-1 AMCC, Women 3-1, 2-0 AMCC

The swimming & diving team had the Thanksgiving Week off and return to back to the pool on Saturday when they take on Cabrini.
 
Wrestling: 
 
The wrestling team had the week off and returns to action this weekend when they travel to Niagara CCC to compete in duals on Friday and the NCCC Open on Saturday.
