DuBois Wins Close Match

Penn State DuBois won a tight 24-22 decision over Alfred State on the wrestling mat on Thursday evening. The Pioneers won five of the ten matches contested on the evening.

Ryan Theirman (Portville) earned a forfeit victory at 125, Austin Keough (Warsaw) defeated Brett Himes 13-3 at 133, Codie Nichols (Unatego) won by injury default at 157, Josh Lord (Owego Free) won 9-5 over Joe Knarr at 174, and Anthony Osman (Vestal) won 3-1 to Andrew Bigley in double overtime.

The blue & gold are back in action next Thursday when they travel to Lycoming for a 7 p.m. battle with the Warriors.
