Muhleisen, Huyler, and Flint Named USCAA All-Americans

Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond), Kaitlin Huyler (Jasper Troupsburg), and Alexis Flint (Arkport) have earned USCAA All-American honors. Muhleisen and Huyler were selected to the 1st team while Flint earned 2nd team honors.

Muhleisen led the Lady Pioneers in scoring for the third straight year. She netted 21 goals and passed out two assists. She recorded three game winning goals and netted two hat tricks (Canton & Bryant & Stratton). Muhleisen scored in thirteen of the Lady Pioneers 19 games and score multiple goals in six contests.

With her latest honor, Muhleisen becomes the first Pioneer athlete to earn All-American honors for three straight years. She was a 1st team USCAA All-American in 2013 after netting 21 goals and passing out two assists and she was a 1st team NJCAA All-American in 2012 after scoring 31 goals and passing out eight assists.

Huyler had a stellar freshmen season in which she was the team's second leading scorer. She netted ten goals and passed out nine assists. She was credited with two game winning goals and she scored in eight different games including a two goal, two assist performance at Penn State Greater Allegheny.

Flint appeared in 17 matches this season. She scored two goals and had two assists before moving to stabilize the defensive backfield at the midpoint of the season. Flint was also named to the USCAA All-Academic team.

The Lady Pioneers finished their 2014 season with a second straight trip to the USCAA National Championships and a 9-8-2 overall record. This the second year that three Lady Pioneers have earned USCAA All-American honors (Muhleisen, Hannah Holmok & Krista DeCarlo were honored in 2013).
