Twelve Pioneers Earn USCAA National All-Academic Award Honors
Twelve Alfred State winter athletes have earned USCAA National All-Academic Award honors. The Pioneers have now had 27 athletes during the 2015-16 school year honored by the USCAA.
The USCAA's National All-Academic Award is designed to recognize all student-athletes (sophomores, juniors, and seniors at four year institutions and sophomores at two year institutions) who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on a 4.00 point system) or greater.
The following Alfred State student-athletes were honored during the 2015-16 winter season.
Men's Basketball: Tyler Elliott (Perry)
Women's Basketball: Kim Levee (Dansville) & Steffanie Preston (Groton)
Men's Track & Field: Kyle Glaub (West Seneca East), Jacob Hanss (East Rochester), Skylor Saxton (Scio), & Brandon Teboe (Falconer)
Women's Track & Field: Angel Bresnahan (Mexico), Jillian Kahn (Dansvlle), Cassandra Ryan (Gloversville), & Lindsey Thiel (Liverpool)
Men's Swimming: Bryce Cutler (Newton, NJ)
