White Leads Pioneers in Loss at Jamestown

Jamar White (Laurel, MD) led the Alfred State men's basketball team with 22 points but Jamestown CC was able to earn a 88-71 victory over the Pioneers in a WNYAC match-up. The Pioneers are now 7-12, 0-6.

White was 10 for 11 from the foul line as he continued his solid play as of late with 22 points.  Marquis Chatman (Allen, TX) and Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) each had 14 points while Adam Fezza (Southhampton) finished with 10 points.  Donnie Stevenson (Red Creek) added four points and nine rebounds.

The Pioneers trailed 38-34 at halftime and was down 54-51 with ten minutes left when the Jayhawks went on a 8-0 to push the lead to double digits.

The blue & gold conclude their five game roadtrip on Tuesday when they travel to Erie CC for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off with the Kats.
