Hutson Named Athlete of the Week
Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) shot the lights out in two contests for the Pioneers this past week and has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week.
Hutson had 24 points and seven rebounds in the Pioneers victory over Jamestown Olean and then had 29 points and six assists in a tough loss to Mercyhurst North East. He was 20 for 31 from the field for the week and connected on 7 of 11 three-point attempts.
On the year, Hutson is averaging 9.9 points per game.
The blue & gold complete the regular season this week with home contests on Thursday (Genesee CC) and Saturday (Jamestown CC).
