Griffin Named Athlete of the Week

Brandon Griffin (Corning East) registered 13 points in three games this past week for the Alfred State lacrosse team. For his solid play, Griffin has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week.

Griffin, who recorded points in all 12 of the Pioneers games in 2013, scored a goal and passed out an assist vs. Broome CC and vs. Monroe CC and had a moster nine-point game (7 goals and two assists) in a win over Niagara CCC.

Griffin led the blue & gold with 43 points on the season. He found the back of the net 23 times and passed out 20 assists.
