Lacrosse Announce 2017 Schedule

The Alfred State lacrosse team will look to continue to add to their win total as they enter the 2017 season. The 2017 schedule features 14 regular season games and USCAA and Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference postseason action.

The Pioneers open up their schedule on February 25th when they travel to Keuka. A few days later (3/1) they battle Wells College in their home opener. After a road game at Hiram (3/4) the team hosts Thiel (3/8) before heading south for their spring break trip.

The spring break trip begins with a contest at Bryn Athyn (3/11) and continues with a week in Myrtle Beach, SC. The team concludes the week with a contest vs. North Central College (3/17).

A pair of home games vs. Cazenovia (3/22) and Hilbert (3/25) greet the team after spring break. The next four games are on the road (Delhi , LaRoche, Utica, and Franciscan). The Pioneers host Medaille (4/10) and then host the USCAA Championships on April 22-23 (Delhi, SUNY Canton, and Dean College participating). 

A short trip down the road to Houghton ends the regular season on April 29th. The team will then shift their focus to the AMCC Showcase with games slated for the first week of May.

The Pioneers have increased their win total in each of the past three seasons.
