Jackson and Wood Named to USCAA National All-Academic Team

Softball players Katie Jackson (Troy, PA) and Lynn Wood (Westfield Academy) have been named to the USCAA National All-Academic Team.  Jackson and Wood are the 6th and 7th Pioneers to earn this honor from the USCAA in the 2013-14 school year.

Jackson has a 3.78 GPA in technology management while Wood has a 3.78 GPA in veterinary technology.  The pair shared the college's academic award earlier this month.

On the softball diamond, Jackson hit .348 with 13 runs scored and 7 RBI while Wood hit .328 with 15 runs scored and 7 RBI.

To be honored by the USCAA, an athlete must have a 3.5 GPA or above and have competed for two seasons.
