Pioneers Remain Perfect with Win over Wells

Alfred State improved to 4-0 on the year with a 127-12 victory over Wells on Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers won every event in the competition that took place a Alfred University.

Kellen Fletcher (Wrightstown, NJ) and Austin Miller (Hornell) were the lone double individual event winner. Fletcher won the 1,000 free in 10:50.84 and the 100 fly (52.24) while Miller won the 1m (222.91) and 3m (244.65) diving competition.

Westin Perry (Canisteo Greenwood) won the 200 free (1:48.66), Jack Friedah (York, PA) won the 100 back (56.70), Stuart Yates (Naples) won the 100 breast (59.69), Patrick Roberts (East Aurora) won the 200 fly (2:06.36), Luca Aldewereld (Cleveland, OH) won the 50 free (22.14), Parker Brod (East Aurora) won the 100 free (50.94), Brianna Dixon (Brentwood, NH) won the 200 back (2:00.54), and Tanner Fixsen (Stayton, OR) won the 500 free (5:16).

The 200 free relay team of Jazz Widney (Tulsa, OK), Brod, Perry, and Aldewereld improved on their school record with a time of 1:29.46.The 200 medley relay team of Perry, Yates, Fletcher, and Aldewereld won in 1:53.26

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Penn State Altoona for a 1 p.m. AMCC meet.
