James and Miller Named AMCC Players of the Week

Alyssa James (Pittsford Mendon) and Austin Miller (Hornell) have been named the AMCC Players of the Week. The Alfred State duo helped the Pioneers to victories on Sunday afternoon.

James won three events as the Pioneers defeated Wells and Franciscan. She won the 100 back (1:06.88), the 200 back (2:26.71), and the 500 free (5:48.94). She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay team that finished in 2:00.28.

Miller won the award for the second straight week after winning both the 1m and 3m diving events in the Pioneers victory over Wells. He won the 1m with a score of 222.91 and the 3m with a total of 244.65 points.

The Pioneers head to Penn State Altoona on Saturday for a 1 p.m. AMCC meet.
