Austin Miller and Kellen Fletcher Named AMCC Athletes of the Week

Fletcher and Miller Honored by the AMCC

Kellen Fletcher (Wrightstown, NJ) and Austin Miller (Hornell) have been honored by the AMCC. Both were key in Alfred State's victory at the Oberlin Invitational.

Fletcher led the way for the Pioneers with a pair of individual victories at Oberlin. He won the 100 fly and set a new AMCC record of 50.61. He also won the 200 IM (1:56.12) and was 2nd in the 200 fly (1:54.08). He was also part of the winning 200 free, 400 free, and 400 medley relay teams. All four of the relays teams are now ranked in the top 20 nationally.

Miller won the 3m diving competition (360.90) and was 2nd in the 1m (378.80) at Oberlin as he continued his solid start to his senior season.

The Pioneers are back competing on January 8th when they swim at the FIU Invitational in Miami, FL.
