Divers Compete at Ithaca

The Alfred State diving team traveled to Ithaca College on Sunday to compete in the Dick Comanzo Invitational. Nick Beach (Canadaigua) led the way with 2nd place finishes in both the 1 m and 3 m competition.

Beach finished 2nd in the 3 m competition with 327.95 points and was 2nd in the 1 m with 365.40. He only trailed Chris Corsell (Oneonta) who won both events.

Tim Berry (Midlakes) was 5th in the 3 m (291.10) and the 1 m (281.10) while Jackson Teboe (Falconer) ws 4th in the 3 m (299.95) and 7th in the 1 m (265.35).

On the women's side, Rebecca Stevens (Wellsville) was 6th in both the 1 m (309.55) and 3 m (281.35). Sarah Stevens (Wellsville) was 7th in the 1 m (286.50) while De'Anna Buckley (Bath Haverling) was 7th in the 3m (252.05) and was 9th in the 1 m (245.30).

The whole Alfred State swimming and diving team is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Geneseo.
