Krouse Qualifies for ECAC's

Richard Krouse (Eden) qualified for the ECAC championships during the day one competition in the heptathlon during the Brockport Invitational.  Krouse's leap of 1.94 m in the high jump qualified him for the championships in March.

Krouse sits in 8th place after four events of the heptathlon with 2,238 points.  The high jump was his highest scoring event on the day earning him 749 points as he finished tied for 1st in the event.

Ryan Seward (Pembroke) sits in 9th place with 1,688 points.  His highest scoring event was the 60 m dash where he scored 495 points with a perfomance of 8.23.

Sarah Wise (Avoca) finished 3rd in the pentathlon competition.  She registered 2,101 points in the five event competition.  Wise's best performance was in the 800 m.  She ran the 800 in 2:40.55 to earn the 7th fastest finish in school history.

Action at the Brockport Invitational continues tomorrow morning at with the completion of the heptathlon and the start of the standard schedule of events.
