4 x 200 Finishes 7th at ECAC's

The Alfred State 4 x 200 relay finished 7th at the 2014 ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track Center in Boston, MA.

The Pioneer quartet of Desmond Chambers (Rochester/Gates Chili), Zach Woodard (Adams Center/South Jefferson), Josiah Thomas (Rochester/John Marshall), and Khris Greggs (Rochester/Aquinas) broke the school record by crossing the finish lin in 1:30.64.  The team was one of 38 teams that competed in the event.

In other events on day one of the two day event, Thomas was 14th in the triple (13.77 m) and Chambers was 25th in the 60 m (7.21).

The women's 4 x200 relay team of Madison McDonald (Lansing), Dayonna Holmes (Rochester/Charlotte), Annaliese Corrao (Grand Island), and Brianna Brynes (Jordan Elbridge) was 31st (1:52.24).

The action continues at the ECAC Championships on Saturday morning.
