Two Pioneers Garner AMCC Player of the Week Honors
Alfred, NY- Two Pioneers garner AMCC Player of the Week honors this week.
Conor Compton makes it three straight week he honors Diver of the Week honors. He scored a 294.00 on the 1-meter board to secure first place. Then on the 3-meter board, Compton scored 328.75 for first.
For the second straight week Mallory O'Keefe earns AMCC Womens Swimmer of the Week honors after she notched three wins. She started the day by rebreaking her 200 fly school record she set last week. In that event, she touched the wall in 2:18.00. She followed with a 5:32.14 in the 500 free for first place. Then in the 1000 free, O'Keefe pulled away from the pack to finish in 11:20.31 for first place. In the 200 free relay, the team of Madison Snayczuk, O'Keefe, Gabriela Leite, and Anna Ivery took first place with a time of 1:41.47. With that time, they earned a spot in the nation's top-25.
