Schneider And Drew Earn AMCC Player Of The Week Honors
Alfred, NY- Two Pioneers earned Player of the Week honors for their performances last week. Mason Drew earned Wreslter of the Week, while Cody Schneider took home men's basketball Player of the Week.
Alfred State SO Mason Drew went 3-0 on the weekend to help the Pioneers win back-to-back regular season championships. He tallied two falls for 12 dual points and another six points for a forfeit win.
Alfred State C Cody Schneider led the Pioneers to two wins last week, and the top spot in conference standings, as he averaged 29 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game, while shooting 61.8 percent from the field. Schneider opened the week with a 22 point game against Bradford while dishing out eight assists and grabbing six rebounds. He followed with a career-high 36 point game against Carlow. Against the Celtics, he grabbed 13 rebounds, and added six assists, three steals, and two blocks.
