Central Penn Rallies to Win Thriller

Central Penn rallied to defeat the Alfred State women's basketball team 83-81 in a wild contest at East Pennsboro High School in Enola, PA.

Four Pioneers finished in double figures on the night. Kelsey Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca) finished with 26 points, Rayanna Anderson (Wellsville) had 18, Skylar Shaulis (Ovid South Seneca) added 16, and Emily Kelly (Andover) had 13.

The Pioneers led 40-28 at the half and led 66-51 with just over eight minutes left in the contest. The Knights were led by Ja'Lyn Burton Jones who scored 22 of her 36 points in the 2nd half.

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday when they host Maine Fort Kent. Opening tip-off at the Orvis Activities Center is at 1 p.m.
