Alfred State (2-1-1) held a 36-13 shot advantage but couldn't get one in the back of the net as they battled SUNY Canton (2-0-2) to a scoreless draw.
The Lady Pioneers fired 22 shots on net and Kelsi Gilbert stopped all of them to record the shutout. Allison Danielak (Brockport) made five saves in 110 minutes for the blue & gold.
Alfred State continues their weekend road trip on Sunday with a Noon start at SUNY Cobleskill.
