Russell and Greggs Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week
Sophomore women's soccer player Haley Russell (Keshequa) and junior football player Khris Greggs (Rochester/Aquinas) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint athlete of the week.
Russell helped the Lady Pioneers to a 2-0 weekend as Alfred State defeated Carlow 3-1 and Penn State Beaver 5-0. She netted the first two goals and registered six shots in the win over Carlow and was a key contributor (2 shots) in the win over Beaver.
Greggs led the offense with 123 receiving yards in their contest at Castleton. He caught six passes including a 80-yard touchdown in the end of the 3rd quarter. On the year he has caught 19 passes for 210 yards.
