Wolf and Wilkerson Named #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week

Women's soccer player Emily Wolf (Hornell) and football player Ben Wilkerson (Fayette-Ware) have been named the Alfred State #PioneerPinpoint Athletes of the Week.

Wolf was named to the USCAA National Championship All-Tournament team after leading the Lady Pioneers to a 1-1 record at the tournament. Wolf led the team with seven shots vs. Bryant & Stratton and scored a goal on five shots in the Lady Pioneers 3-0 victory over Maine Machias. She finished the year with three goals and five assists.

Wilkerson was key in the Pioneers 34-18 victory over Maranatha Baptist. Wilkerson was 27 for 35 for 329 yards and three touchdowns on the day. The 300-yard day was the first by a Pioneer in the three years the team has played at the NCAA DIII level. He threw touchdown passes of 10, 40, and 44 yards. He also ran in for a six-yard score and scored on two 2-point conversions. On the year he has passed for 1,031 yards and seven touchdowns.
