27 Track & Field Student-Athletes Earn Fall CSAC All-Academic Team Honors

27 members of the Alfred State track & field team have earned Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Academic team honors for their work in the classroom during the Fall 2020 semester. The track & field team is an affiliate member of the CSAC and competes in the CSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships annually.

The CSAC named a total of 978 student-athletes from the conference's 11 core and seven associate member institutions to the Fall 2020 CSAC All-Academic Team. The CSAC All-Academic Team recognizes student-athletes who achieved a grade-point average of 3.20 of better during the Fall 2020 semester.

The CSAC Board of Directors adopted a resolution to honor fall, winter and spring student-athletes who met or exceeded the minimum GPA requirement, maintained full-time enrollment status at their institution and were included on the institution's roster during the Fall 2020 semester. Student-athletes who satisfy this criteria following the completion of the Spring 2021 semester will be recognized with a second CSAC All-Academic Team honor.

"I am extremely proud of the CSAC student-athletes who achieved All-Academic Team recognition during the Fall 2020 semester," said CSAC Commissioner Adrienne Mullikin. "I offer my heartfelt congratulations to these student-athletes for demonstrating excellence in the classroom amidst the unprecedented adversity they have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic."
