Zach Rudewicz-Nepokroeff and Dylan Perlino have earned All-Region honors

Perlino and Rudewicz-Nepokroeff Named All-Region - 15 Earn All-CSAC

Dylan Perlino (Holland) and Zach Rudewicz-Nepokroeff (Williamsville East) have earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Mideast Region honors recently. This honor and 15 All-CSAC honors cap the 2021 outdoor season.

Perlino earned All-Region honors in two events. His throw of 46.14 m in the discus at the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawk Capstone Meet was good for 4th best in the region on the year. His throw of 49.16 m in the hammer at the AARTFC Championships not only set a new Alfred State record but was 4th best in the region as well. 

At the CSAC Championships, Perlino earned 2nd team All-CSAC honors in the hammer throw and discus while earning honorable mention honors in the shot put.

Rudewicz-Nepokroeff registered a mark of 7.07 m in the long jump in at the AARTFC Championships to push his way onto the Region leaderboard. He ranked 4th best on the season. Earlier at the CSAC Championships, he was named 2nd team in the 4x100 relay.

The following student-athletes earned All-CSAC honors:

  • Cameron Chambers (East Rochester) earned 1st team honors in the 800.
  • Gavin Bathgate (East Rochester) earned 1st team honors in the 10,000 and 2nd team honors in the 5,000.
  • Nathan Chambers (East Rochester) earned 1st team honors in the hammer throw.
  • Shawn Rosa (Middletown) earned 1st team honors in the 4x400 and 2nd team honors in the 4x100 and the 400.
  • Edward Scroxton (Lakewood/Southwestern) earned 1st team honors in the 4x400 and 2nd team honors in the 1,500.
  • Corey Seymour (Dryden) earned 1st team honors in the 4x400, honorable mention in the 400, and was named the ASC representative on the CSAC Sportsmanship Team.
  • Brian Clark (Bethpage) earned 1st team honors in the 4x400.
  • Ryan Lohr (West Seneca) earned 2nd team honors in the 10,000 and honorable mention in the 5,000.
  • Derek Walter (Lancaster) earned 2nd team honors in the 110 hurdles.
  • Cooper Buckley (Wellsville) earned 2nd team honors in the steeplechase.
  • Cameron Howard (Brockport) earned 2nd team honors in the 4x100
  • Esaias Brumfield (West Genesee) earned 2nd team honors in the 4x100.
  • Jesse Johnson (Horseheads) earned honorable mention honors in the the high jump

Alfred State finished 2nd at the CSAC Championship and then went on to finish 23rd out of 34 teams that competed at the AARTFC Championships.
