Hopkins Named Athlete of the Week

Alfred State swimmer Casey Hopkins (Hamburg) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week after helping lead the Pioneers to the Jamestown CC Invitational title by winning three individual events.  He also was part of two winning relays.

He won the 50 free (24.05), the 100 free (53.40), and the 100 back (1:01.71) and swam anchor in the 200 free relay (1:39.70) and the 400 free relay (3:54.81).

The Pioneers scored 316 points in the competition to earn the title.  SUNY Delhi trailed Alfred State with 270 points.
