Thomas Adds ECAC Honor
Josiah Thomas (Rochester/Marshall) has been named the ECAC track & field athlete of the week after being named NYSCTC field athlete of the week and Alfred State athlete of the week earlier.
Thomas finished 2nd in the triple jump and the long jump (6.36 m) at the Hamilton College Continental Invitational. His leap of 14.07 m in the triple jump ranks him 7th in the nation. Thomas also ran a leg in the Pioneers 4x200 relay team that qualified for the ECAC Championships.
Thomas has qualified for ECAC's in both the triple jump and the 4x200. The championships will be held in Boston in early March.
