Yates Named ECWC Co-Rookie of the Week
Dawsen Yates (Bolivar) has been named the ECWC Co-Rookie of the Week. He shares the honor with Anthony Cacen from Owego.
Yates was 3-0 at the Pioneer December Duals. He registered a fall in 17 seconds over Clayton Shaw (Keystone), won by decision 9-7 vs Grayson Lee (Lycoming) and received a win via forfeit vs Ulster.
Honor Roll: Sean Malenfant (Alfred State)
The Pioneers will resume action on Sunday, Jan. 2 against Williams in an exhibition at home.
