Tigers Down Pioneers

RIT won seven matches as they defeated Alfred State 33-12 on Saturday afternoon.  Austin Keough (Warsaw), Conner Fox (Midlakes), and Konnor Kremer (Horseheads) picked up victories for the Pioneers.

After a RIT victory at heavyweight to open the match, Keough defeated Andrew Flanagan 7-0 in the 125 lb. match to even the score at 3-3.  The Tigers won the next four matches to take a 22-3 lead.  Kremer earned a medical forfeit victory at 165 lb. to make it 22-9.  

RIT earned a pin at 174 before Fox earned a 6-2 decision over Nick Fisk at 184.  RIT closed the match with a pin at 197.

The match wrapped up a busy week for the Pioneers in which they wrestled three times in five days.  Alfred State hosts Oswego at 7 p.m.
