Keough Named Athlete of the Week

Freshman 125 lb. wrestler Austin Keough (Warsaw) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week.  Keough was 2-1 this past week in the Pioneers three dual meets.

Keough started the week off with a decisive 17-1 tech fall victory over Penn College's Dalton Deimler.  He took a 7-1 defeat at the hands of Lycoming's Jake Witmer in the team's match on Thursday but rebounded with a 7-0 victory over RIT's Andrew Flanagan.

Keough is 2-2 on the season and will look to add to his record this week as the Pioneers battle Oswego on Tuesday and then to Penn State on Sunday to compete in the USCAA Championships.
