Lady Pioneers Blank Fisher JV
The Alfred State women's soccer team improved to 9-3-1 on the year with a 3-0 victory over St. John Fisher JV on Wednesday evening. The shutout is the 6th on the year for the Lady Pioneers.
Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) got Alfred State on the board at 26:33 when her high shot went up and over the goalies head.
She made it 2-0 ten minutes later when she got a nice pass from Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) that led to a 1 on 1 with the goalie.
Chelsea Dunn (Newfane) netted a goal in the 76th minute after getting a long pass from Ally Vargeson (Addison).
Krista DeCarlo (West Islip) made five saves in the first 84 minutes for Alfred State while Spela Sluga (William Floyd) played the final six minutes.
Alfred State held a 20 to 6 shot advantage in the game.
The Lady Pioneers have a few days off before hitting the road on Monday to take on the JV squad from Roberts Wesleyan.
