Lady Pioneers Win #10

The Alfred State women's soccer team notched their 10th win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Roberts Wesleyan JV on Monday afternoon.  The Lady Pioneers are now 10-3-1 on the year.

Roberts got on the board first but Kali Muhleisen (Alfred Almond) tied it up with her 19th goal of the season.  Hannah Holmok (Alfred Almond) picked up the assist.

Keri Teufel (Sachem) scored the game winner in the 2nd after getting a pass from Allison Vargeson (Addison).

Alfred outshot Roberts JV 16-5.  Krista DeCarlo (West Islip) made four saves.

The blue & gold return to action on Wednesday when they host cross county foe Houghton College.  The contest is slated for a 5 p.m. start.
