Hume Now Ninth All-Time in Hammer Throw
Nicole Hume (Alexander) started off the 2022 outdoor track and field season by moving into the ninth spot on the Alfred State All-Time list for hammer throw.
Hume threw 33.91m (111-3) at the Jim Taylor Invitational hosted by Susquehanna on Friday to place 24th overall.
She finished 24th in shot put also with a throw of 9.78m (32-1).
Hannah Maroney (Baldwinsville/Baker High) threw 6.42m (21-0 ¾) in shot put to place 44th and was 51st in hammer with 19.96m (65-6).
Kelly Grainger was 47th in shot put with 5.30m (17-4 ¾).
The Pioneers compete at Day 2 of the Jim Taylor Invitational on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
