Women’s Track and Field Compete at St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic

The Alfred State women's track and field team competed at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Classic on Saturday.

Emma Taggart (New Windsor) won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.73 and finished 3rd in high jump with 1.45m.

Sarah Rivet (Waterford) placed 3rd in the 400-meter hurdles with the time of 1:09.82.

The 4x100-meter relay of Madeline Cole (Homer), Madison Snayczuk, Leilani Sloan (Rochester), and Marina Miketish (Olean) placed third in 53.12.

The 4x400-meter relay of Cole, Miketish, Rivet, and Katherine O'Buckley (Queens) were 2nd with 4:27:03.

Miketish finished 6th in high jump with 1.45m.

Laura Walter (Lancaster) placed 7th in pole vault with the height of 2.45m.

Cole placed 11th in long jump with 4.75m.

Snayczuk placed 8th in long jump with 4.92m and 4th in triple jump with 10.23m.

Sarah Daunce (Clifton Springs) placed 8th in triple jump with 9.86m.

Nicole Hume (Alexander) finished 8th with a throw of 9.93m, 6th in discus with 32.53m, and 5th in the hammer throw with 37.51.

The Pioneers will compete next at University of Rochester on Saturday, April 30.
