Three Pioneers Take Home Player Of The Week Honors

Alfred, NY- This week the Pioneers garner three Player Of The Week honors. Volleyball's Nayomie Ferrer Santiago, and Swimming and Diving's Conor Compton and Mallory O'Keefe. 

Nayomie Ferrer Santiago was named Offensive Player Of The Week after tallying two double-doubles on the week while totaling 91 assists, 42 digs, 13 aces, and nine kills. In the first match against Wells she came away with 43 assists, 22 digs, and five aces. She followed that with a 27 assist, and nine kill game against Pitt. Greensburg. She ended the week with a 21 assist, 11 dig game, while also adding six aces.

Conor Compton won Diver Of The Week for the second straight week after hitting his A-Standards on both boards to officially qualify for NCAA Regionals. In the meet against SUNY Geneseo he broke his own record on the 1 meter board for six dives, recording a 332.95. 

Mallory O'Keefe garnered Women's Swimmer Of The Week honors after a great meet againt SUNY Geneseo. She started the meet by breaking the school record in the 200 fly, finshing in 2:20.54. She also swam on the 400 free relay team, finishing as a team in 3:42.52, while recording a split time of 55.99.
