Pioneer Athletes Of The Week
Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Swimming and Diving Conor Compton and Madison Snayczuk.
Conor Compton won Diver of the Meet after winning both the 3 meter and 1 meter event. In the 3-meter event, he tallied 601.25 to set a new school record, an AMCC Championship meet record, and an AMCC conference record. He followed with a 518.95 on the 1-meter board. He also set new a school record, an AMCC Championship meet record, and an AMCC conference record with that score.
Madison won women's swimmer of the meet honors after notching three individual wins and three team wins. She won the 50 free with a time of 24.78, the 200 free with a time of 1:57.95, and the 100 free with a time of with a time of 53.70. She was also a part of the teams that won the 200 free relay, 400 medley relay, and the 400 free relay.
