Pioneer Athletes Of The Week
Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Men's Track and Field Aden Alexander, and Women's Basketball Sarah Somers.
Aden Alexander won the triple jump for the second week in a row after jumping 12.79 meters. He followed with a fifth-place finish in the long jump, with a distance of 6.35 meters
Sarah Somers averaged 19.5 ppg and 10.0 rpg this week while shooting 51.5 percent from the floor. In the game against Wells, she tallied 16 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and shot 63.6 percent from the floor. Somers followed with a 23 and 10 game against Altoona.
