Alfred State Sits in Third In The Presidents Cup
Alfred, NY- With the fall season coming to a close Alfred State sits in third in this years Presidents Cup Standings.
Taking a look at the breakdown, the Pioneers scored a total of 31 points. Men's Soccer led the way with nine points. They took home the conference tourney title and earned a NCAA tournament berth for the first time in program history. Volleyball was right behind them, scoring 8.5 points. Volleyball made it to the conference tournament title match for the third year in a row.
The Pioneers cross-country teams finished with a total of nine points. The men's team finished with a total of six points with a runner-up finish at the conference meet, and the women's team finished with three points for a runner-up finish as well. Women's soccer rounded out the fall with 4.5 points.
Alfred State finished the fall with a .756 percentage. That percentage is based on the possible amount of points a school can finish with at the conclusion of the fall season.
