Pioneer Athletes Of The Week
Racquel Gerstenberger opened the week with 14 kills to pust the team past Mt. Aloysius. Then in the semifinals against Penn-State Behrend she notched nine kills and 14 digs as the Pioneers advanced to their third straight AMCC Finals. In the finals, Gerstenberger had her best game of the season tallying 19 kills and 22 digs
Zach Levey won the 133 bracket at the Washington and Jefferson Invite, with two decision wins, a major decision, and a fall. His day started with a 4-1 decision win. Then he notched a 9-3 decision win, before getting a third period fall to advance to the first-place match. In the first-place match, Levey tallied a major decision to win the bracket.
