Jamison And Malenfant Earns AMCC Player Of The Week Honors

Alfred, NY- Alfred State tallied two AMCC Players of the Week. Men's Basketball Paris Jamison and Men's Wrestling Sean Malenfant earned this honor as announced by the conference office this afternoon. 

Paris Jamison averaged 31.5 points per game and shot 79.4 percent from the field. He started the week with a 25 point game against Penn St Altoona where he went 10-for-15 from the field. He also added four assists and three steals. Jamison followed that with a 38 point game against Mt. Aloysius, going 17-for-19 from the field, shooting 89.5%, while adding six rebounds and a block. With his 38 point game, Jamison hit his 1,000th career point to become Alfred State's first 1,000 point scorer in their NCAA era.

Sean Malenfant went 3-0 against some of the best wrestlers in the nation. He opened the weekend with the 15-4 major decision win over Loras' Kam Royster. The notched two first round falls, the first came against Angel Jaimes of Aurora in 1:55. Then the final one came against Elon Martin of RIT in 2:33. The Pioneers finished 18th at the NWCA National Duals.
