DePofi Named Athlete of the Week
Junior linebacker Nick DePofi (Union Endicott) has been named the Alfred State athlete of the week. DePofi had a monster day as the Pioneers defeated Hudson Valley CC 41-14 to even their record at 4-4.
DePofi was second on the team with 11 tackles (six solo). One of his tackles was for a loss as well. His biggest play of the day came in the 1st quarter when he intercepted a pass and returned it 80-yards for the score.
DePofi has 45 tackles and five sacks on the season for the blue & gold.
Alfred State travels to Southern Virginia this weekend to take on the Knights.
