Williams Named Athlete of the Week

Rasheed Williams (Swedesboro, NJ) rushed for over 100 yards for the 4th time this season in the Pioneers contest at Wesley.  For his performance he has been named Alfred State athlete of the week.

Williams carried the ball 35 times for 119 yards vs. the stingy Wolverines defense.  Combined with a catch of nine yards, Williams accounted for 128 of the Pioneers 158 yards in the contest.

With his performance on Saturday, Williams eclipsed the 1,000 yard plateua on the year.  He finishes the season with 1,017 yards on 197 carries.  He rushed for 10 touchdowns as well.

This is the 2nd time this season that Williams has been named Alfred State athlete of the week.
