Alfred State to Host Skills Camp

Alfred State men's basketball coach Jerry Jusianiec will host a Individiual SKILLS basketball camp from August 5 - August 7 at the Orvis Activities Center.  The three day camp is geared for boys and girls (ages 10-17) as a building block on basketball skills and fundamentals.

The camp runs form 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and costs $120.  Each camper will receive a water bottle, t-shirt, and basketball.

All the drills will be geared towards attaining and improving the skills necessary to play competitive basketbll at the middle and high school levels.  Skills that will be addressed include ball handling, passing, shooting, defense both individual and team concepts, team offensive concepts, and agility drills to improve hand-eye coordination, foot speed and quickness.
